The novel follows a British girls exploits upon moving to the sunshine state of
In what is a very ordinary scenario the most inexplicable things begin to happen. So much so that the main character not only delves deep into self exploration with her new found lease of life, but gets involved in something very dark and sinister.
The ‘L word’ meets ‘Goodfellas’
The Mafia with PMS.
The story isn’t just about gay women having sex and relationships. There are things behind the scenes. Murder and mutilation. A dint in the sheen of perfection of the place she has found herself. A story with substance. There is more than one wrong turn in it to keep you guessing.
This is a novel that will not only appeal to gay readers. Anyone who is looking for a book with more than the average amount of twists and turns may indeed also find it a worthy read.
Erotic horror writer J L DAY from
The book comes from the already established author of WITNESS: THE WHITE VOLUME and WITNESS: THE BLACK VOLUME as well as the e-published title ‘WALLPAPER’.
This is the first overtly gay novel the writer has produced and it is geared heavily towards the lesbian population who are perhaps tired of ‘romance only’ books that don’t cater with the need to connect with ‘real’ characters in ‘real’ situations. It has caught the attention of ‘A’ list lesbian writer at this point with SAGE SWEETWATER, with her blessings the book has received much attention prior to release.
There are two sample chapters posted at: http://www.authorsden.com/visit/viewshortstory.asp - for anyone who would like to peruse of the writers style first. Be advised! This is adult reading matter.
The author has self-published to avoid lengthy delays with publishers rejecting the work because of its content. The writer feels that the reading public should get to decide what they would like to read – not have it dictated to them by publishing houses that won’t touch genre-geared work such as this one.

It's officially here for you to buy. As well as being pretty damn horrific you'll find it to be incredibly sexy too.
What's not to like?
I took all the crap off the first page because it was making my eyes bleed everytime I needed to change something. Hope you like this better. Or at least you should do.
I am 30 now. Yep. Time flies eh? I have two published books out and one ebook. I have made a million contacts in the field of horror, but more importantly to me I have made a select few of what I consider now to be 'life time' friends.
Being a horror writer is pretty cool most of the time. You get the occasional slanty glances but I like to think I've grown past all that, its their problem if what I write disturbs them. Of course I enjoy disturbing people, why should I care what they think!
For the coming twelve months there is so much more I want to do, I have just had an agreement from the most excellent Ruby Orman, (she's cute too), to illustrate my next novel which will be a collection of short stories. If I'm lucky she's also going to write some stuff with me too - *update, oh yes she has!* It'll be a new experience but she's a good lass, I trust her talent. I think we could make beautiful music together.
I've also in the last two days found something called Author's Den, what an amazing place for writers, I found that link here too on freewebs on a creepy site. - *update, Authorsden officially RAWKS! With almost 2000 hits on all my books and bio pages*
It's all good stuff.
'Wallpaper' is shifting downloads like you wouldn't believe. I look forward to clearing my overdraft for the first time in years. I also have an Ebay addiction, I sold one thing and its spiraling out of control, everything in my house is going up for sale. 'Out with the old' to epic proportions. I sell PSP games, PS2 games, a few collectibles, I tried flogging signed books and no one wanted them. They'll be sorry when it costs them ten times more. And it will happen.
So, my favourite people for now are: J L Day, (Master/Jeffie), Tears, (Boots), Ruby Orman, (RubyO), Heidi Martinuzzi, Angeleternyti, Wayne Simmons, Stella Price, Mistress Rae, erm...
(If I have omitted to mention you here and you feel this is unfair, remind me why you're special and I'll happily put you here. I can't remember every damn thing)
People I can't stand: both my sisters- (Ann, Sharon), who are complteley selfish and self-absorded and care little about family and what it really means.
My employers who don't feel like paying a fair amount for the work I do, this is subject to change let me tell you.
Anyone who shows prejudice of any nature, race, status, sexual orientation, political, financial. Why can't we at least try to get past all the superfluous crap that doesn't mean a thing. We all share one world.
My dads off the shit list - for now.
(Any of the above wanna duke it out, prove your not a shitter/waster/bias shitbag, please email me at I-dont-give-a-shit@aol.com)
What have I done this year? How dare you!!!
Check my work load.
Novels:
Witness: The White Volume - available through Diggory Press
Horror, dark, demons, evil, very British.
Witness: The Black Volume - available through Diggory Press
The first horror wasn’t the worst; the evil gets bigger and BADDER!
Both novels have been self published and have reached over a thousand book sales each! I’ve had some cracking reviews and the first novel has since been picked up by Forbidden under contract. The second novel is still up for grabs but I’m ideally looking for a print publisher.

Glass House (Submitted)
A zombie piece written on request by a zombie loving friend of mine. Short, but to the point!

My Marlene - coming soon in 'Dark Gothic Resurrected' issue two (Available)
This will be in Dark Gothic Resurrected next year but is available for pick up. It’s a sad little tale about how a guy can love his wife so much, and what he is forced to do to keep her.

Odd one really. A man insists in his mind his mother once abused him. But he thinks about it so often he no longer thinks it can be just a thought. Is it true?

She was the first - (Erotic) (Submitted)
Not horror. Erotica of the highest order. Little sad too. Sometimes it can’t be helped but you end up letting something through that’s gonna bite you on the arse. Never mind.
The Funeral Cortege (Sinister Sisters)
I did enjoy this twisted little piece. Bizarre. Tainted. A tone apart.
Thinking of you (Sinister Sisters)
Very short. An ode to dismemberment.
This town's not big enough (Available)
The end of the world. But not as we know it. Can you imagine being left alone on the planet with the one person you can’t stand? Bonkers. But quite long, approx 10,000 words.
World Aflame (Available)
Obsession and delirium. A lonely man finds company in the most unlikely of places. Every magic thing I do is tainted. Poor chap, but he was happy eventually.
Wallpaper - available through Mardi Gras Publishers
Quite long. Madness and bedroom wallpaper. A brain exercise that turned ugly on me, I enjoyed the madness. Very British in tone, very northern. Can you help this man?

Publications featured in:
'Death's Call Centre' - part 1
Featured in 'Dark Gothic Resurrected', available from www.lulu.com
Projects:
RazorFace/ScissorLips – sci/horror compilation.
Apocalyptic. Dusty. Futuristic. Gory and hopefully compelling. It’s written in parts, showing the paths of the two very different people who have a special talent. An intertwined purpose that’s going to have a drastic effect on the rest of the world.
It won’t be long now. But, I can’t promise. They keep getting up to dickens.
‘Sinister Sisters’ with dark artist Ruby Orman- (www.nightmirrors.com )
Ruby’s art is the best. Her work inspires me greatly. It also helps that she’s a lovely young woman who is more than happy to work with me and provide some illustrations to go with the tales I’ve picked. She might also have a few other surprises for us. I know it’s in her capability to write, this is a more leisurely project. We are enjoying working together.
F*cked up Fairytales.
I don’t have publishers for all my works but anyone can feel free to ask them to send something for them to read in a legitimate manner. I don’t send stuff out willy-nilly, I have a vested interest in protecting my works too.
I use do have works currently with Mardi Gras and Forbidden under contract.
